Team Up! volunteers travel to the Ujima Village community center in South LA each week to provide tutoring, mentoring, and activities for the students residing in Ujima Village. On Tuesdays, we provide tutoring and activities for elementary school and middle school children, and on Wednesdays, we provide tutoring and activities for high school children. Vans to Ujima Village leave the Dykstra/DeNeve turnaround around 2:00 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and we return to UCLA by 6:00. Come once, and we guarantee you?ll want to come again!
